Same three packs that run inside the Self-Audit Suite — MiCA 40 rules, GDPR 30 rules, FCA 25 rules — delivered as portable markdown skills you install once and run locally in Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Cursor. No web form, no copy leaving your machine.
Information, not legal advice · an operator-grade heuristic, not a certification · no regulatory outcome is guaranteed.
The Skills Pack is the same rule content as the Self-Audit Suite, packaged to run inside your own tooling. It does not sit above or below the Suite on the ladder — it sits beside it. Pick the Suite if you want the hosted version and ongoing rule updates; pick the Skills Pack if you would rather own the files and run them offline. You do not need both.
Each pack is a single SKILL.md file: the rules, the citation behind every rule, the severity, what to look for, and a concrete rewrite pattern for each finding. Authored by an ex-CMO of two international crypto exchanges.
Risk warnings, misleading claims and guarantees, past performance, identifiability and KOL disclosure, whitepaper consistency, ART/EMT stablecoin rules, cross-jurisdictional flags, and format-specific rules. Reflects MiCA Title II–IV and ESMA marketing-communications guidance. Try the free MiCA check →
Lawful basis, consent mechanics, cookie banners, signup forms, email marketing, privacy notices, ad creative and marketing-automation flows. Reflects GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive and EDPB guidelines. Try the free GDPR check →
UK financial promotions for cryptoassets: Section 21 FSMA, the Financial Promotion Order, COBS 4.12A, PERG 8 and the FCA's October 2023 cryptoasset regime. Try the free FCA check →
There is nothing to install and no account to create. Each pack is a markdown file with YAML frontmatter — the format Claude Code and Claude Desktop already read, and close enough to a Cursor rule file that it drops straight in.
Drop the folder into .claude/skills/ in your repo, or ~/.claude/skills/ to have it everywhere. Discovered automatically; invoked by asking for the check.
Settings → Capabilities → Skills → add a skill folder, then drop the pack in. Useful for the non-engineers on a marketing team.
Save into .cursor/rules/ and apply it manually, or paste the system-prompt section into a custom mode.
It is markdown. Paste the rules and the output format into whatever you already use. No lock-in, no runtime.
Because the packs run on your machine, the marketing copy you audit never reaches NorthPoint. That is the point of this format.
The lite pack runs 5 of MiCA's 40 rules — the same five that sit behind the public MiCA check, so nothing is being held back from you that you couldn't already run in a browser. What is new is the packaging: install it once and audit copy without leaving your editor. If it earns a place in your workflow, the full packs are below.
Data controller: NorthPoint Marketing Solutions Oy, Lapinlahdenkatu 16, 00180 Helsinki, Finland — hello@northpoint.fi.
What we store: your email address, its domain, the page you asked from, and the date. Nothing else.
Why: to give you the file you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) — a step you requested) and, only if you tick the box above, to send you occasional updates (Art. 6(1)(a) — your consent, withdrawable at any time).
How long: 24 months if you opt in to updates, 12 months if you don't. Ask us and we'll delete it sooner.
What we never see: the copy you audit. The packs run on your machine — nothing you check is sent to us.
Full detail in the privacy notice.
Paid once. The files are yours.
Card payment for the Skills Pack isn't switched on yet. If you want it now, email hello@northpoint.fi and we'll invoice you directly.
Prefer it hosted, with the rule updates maintained for you? That's the Self-Audit Suite.
The packs help you audit your own copy. They do not review it for you, and they are not a substitute for counsel. When the stakes are higher than a self-check, the done-for-you tiers are the next step.
The Skills Pack is an operator-grade heuristic that returns information to help you identify and fix likely marketing-compliance issues. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee a regulatory outcome or that any asset will pass a regulator's assessment. A clean result from any pack means those rules found no issue — it is not a statement that an asset is compliant. For a binding view on a specific promotion, authorisation, approval or exemption, retain qualified counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.
