Is this insurance in the legal sense?
No. "Insurance" is the metaphor used in the marketing copy because it captures the buyer's mental model — risk-transfer, standby capacity, predictable premium. NorthPoint is not a regulated insurance product under EU IDD or Solvency II, and we don't make legally binding indemnity claims. We are a marketing-services subscription with published SLAs. For binding regulatory advice or indemnification, retain qualified counsel and an actual insurer in addition to NorthPoint.
What if I cancel?
Cancel any time after the design-partner period (or any time, full stop, after v1 launch). No minimum commitment, no early-termination fee. Your audit history and shared workspace stay accessible to you for export for 30 days post-cancellation. Stickiness should come from value, not contract.
What if my crisis war room runs longer than 8 hours?
The 8-hour cap per event covers most crisis windows in our experience. If your event runs longer, additional time is billed at €500/h or you can absorb additional events at €2,500 per event. Most subscribers never trigger the war room in a given quarter; pricing assumes a loss-ratio well below 100%.
Why MiCA-first instead of FCA / SEC retail / MAS / VARA from day one?
Building each self-serve check is engineering work, and we're sequencing rather than parallel-shipping. MiCA is on day one because it's the regulation we have the deepest IP on (40-rule audit, public skill on GitHub, working tool live now). FCA and SEC retail ship next; MAS and VARA later in 2026. In the interim, the cross-jurisdiction layer is delivered through judgment-based pre-flight reviews — Jukka reads your asset and applies the rules manually, with stamped output.
Do you have case studies?
Not yet — and we're upfront about that. The product is live for design partners as of 2026. Once month 3 closes for the first cohort, with their permission, we'll publish case studies. Until then, the work speaks for itself: the public MiCA-check tool, the public GDPR-check tool, the published 40-rule MiCA self-audit on GitHub, two published books, and Jukka's verifiable track record running marketing inside two international crypto exchanges. If transparent IP is the bar instead of testimonials, we clear it.
Who actually does the work?
Jukka — supported by a private NorthPoint AI stack. Self-serve checks (MiCA, GDPR) run on a hybrid rules-engine + LLM hybrid system. Pre-flight reviews are AI-drafted, Jukka-stamped. Crisis war room is Jukka direct. Monthly Brief is Jukka authoring with AI scaffolding. The judgment layer is always Jukka; the volume layer is always AI. That's the math that makes €2,500/mo work.
What happens during Jukka's annual leave / OOO?
Self-serve checks (MiCA, GDPR) run uninterrupted — they're automated. Scheduled drops (weekly digest, monthly brief) are pre-authored or use a co-operator backup. The 24/7 hotline routes to a curated escalation list during OOO periods, and pre-OOO communications notify subscribers of the temporary cover arrangement. We publish OOO schedules in advance; subscribers always know who's responding when.
Do you handle GDPR consulting beyond the marketing side?
No — and you should be cautious of any marketing-side provider who claims to. Marketing GDPR (consent flows, cookie banners, profiling disclosure, unsubscribe) is what we do. Data Protection Officer work, vendor DPAs, breach response, full ROPA documentation, and DPIA work belong with a qualified DPO and/or counsel.
Can I upgrade or downgrade between tiers?
Yes. AI Crypto CMO subscribers often graduate to the
CMO Operating System (90-day transformation, from €55k) when they're ready for a deeper install. Or to
Fractional Crypto CMO (from €15k/mo) when they want NorthPoint to actually run their marketing function. Movement up or down is a conversation, not a process.
What's the cap on subscribers?
v1 caps at 6 active subscribers. Once cap is hit, we open a real (not theatrical) waitlist and raise the price to €3,500/mo for new entrants. Existing subscribers grandfather at €2,500. The cap is a function of fulfillment economics, not artificial scarcity — at 6 subscribers, Jukka is at ~80h/mo on this tier, which is the sustainable load.
